They aren't carb legal because Card Cert'ing costs 80K+ and it's just not worth it for such a limited market. FWIW, you will pass emissions, just maybe not the visual.

Thanks for the the heads up on the link. Fixed.

Like it's already been posted, CARB Certification costs $$$. But as a former resident of CA, I think it's best to say that you can un-install this kit just as easily to pass smog and then return it back to performance levels! :D

No, you do not need to add the WAR Chip to gain the 25 HP. Our provided tune that comes on a traditional chip is all that is needed. IF you did get the WAR Chip, the same tune would be used, but you just have the option to refine it specifically to your car.

These pictures are from an old version that used a different elbow. Obviously the elbow pictured in this car is now replaced with the silicone version posted above.

I have one on my car, and as long as your fender liner splash shield is intact, this doesn't pick up water. It hides behind the fog light, and comes with a bottom shield.

Have any 3rd party dyno results been posted with regards to this kit? I remember looking into it when it first came out and all dynos were done in house - not bashing, just curious.

Does this have enough play to be mounted in another location? I dont have those splash plates so it would not survive....

No play. It mounts behind the foglight, using a spare hole in the frame to bolt in place. Doesn't fit any other way.

I tried to pull a dyno run before my MS install, but the car would not run with the WAR chip (with the default 19lb tune) and no O2 sensor.
