    My '87 325is RallyCross Project

    Ello all the names Joe, and figured as a newb to the forum i'd share some pics of my lowly e30 Rally x project, shes got 320k on her and takes a beating like a champ, picked her up for 1500 from my friend after i just helped him put a shat ton of new parts in her :twisted:

    anyways here are some pics, they go from oldest to mist current, enjoy;

              welcome, love what you do!! and congrats on your success in rallying. definitely been a dream of mine since i can remember. rally and hillclimp truly best sports.

                thats awesome! Almost tempted to make my S50 car a rally machine!

                  Thanks guys, I run with the sunroof open maily because i hit my helmet on the roof eith it closed :)

                  Its a stock 325is with LSD and a 5spd, its got long tube ebay headers, no cats and a factory muffler (not quiet ;) )
                  also has a short throw shift kit in it from PO other than that like i said its stock, i just go out and beat it :)

                  I use snow tires for rally tires since im not rich by any means, and real rally tires aint cheap.

                  I hope to participate in a real Rally some day, but for now SCCA RallyCross is cheap and fun :)

                  *Ilion is about 3 hours from rochester, right smack in CNY pretty much, in between syracuse and albany :mrgreen:

                    Here's my othe two cars since I'm already whoring:
                    95 318i with 208k, drove it to both east and west coast Bimmerfest's in one year (yes from NY to so cal at that static ride height ;) )


                    And the recently purchased e39 528i for the daily :)
