I bought this 2dr back in late Dec w/ a turbo M20 and a somewhat recent rebuild.
After getting the engine management sorted I was having problems. Finally had
the engine yanked and purchased some parts so I could rid myself of the turbo,
never really liked it anyways.
What I found was that a wrist pin had fallen out at some point and was grinding
into the cylinder wall.

On the opposite wall the piston had gouged a 3-4mm pit :/

After finding another block for the rebuild, it all came together quite nicely......YAY!
Parts included in the rebuild are below:
3.1L Ireland kit (Ross Racing 9.75:1 pistons) and block had to be notched
288/288 Schrick
larger exhaust valves
ported head
stronger rockers
stronger valve springs
ARP studs
MAF swap
Dbilas multi throttle body
BavAuto long tube headers
Y pipe to single 3" exhaust tubing and a Borla XR1 silencer
No CAT
Alpina B3 chip (coming this week)
Miller 1.3ecu (basically a pre-built SMT6 into the stock Motronic box)

Finally in the car and trying to get mileage on it so I can throw it on the dyno to
be tuned with the SMT6 piggyback. The MAF is really screwin up the driveability
of the car and I probably should of used the AFM to run in the engine, but oh well.
Next week I should have the rings seated so it can be fully tuned.....also hope the
B3 chip helps for now and will be very useful with the higher idle and raised rev limit.

This is a very similar build to Calvin Tan's in KL so I hope it can make a bit more power.
His numbers were great at 212rwhp & 202ft-lbs. We'll see next week :)
