M20b27 SETA for sale in Missouri with accessories

    SOLD!

Guys, I am selling my 1988 M20b27 SETA in Kansas City, Missouri. No problems with the engine (it actually felt silly to pull it, since it was running so well). Reason for selling is that I'm going 24V.

The engine comes with intake manifold, PS pump, harness, A/C compressor (but I think the compressor is shot), injectors, throttle body, intake tube, MAF, airbox. I also have for sale the 325i intake manifold and a few other 'upgrade' parts for it, that are available separately.

Earlier this year (May, I believe) I put on a brand new timing belt and tensioner, metal impeller water pump, distributor cap and rotor, spark plugs, the top two coolant hoses and the power steering belt.

This is a strong running engine, and the 1 year that is really easy to turn into the '327i stroker' for your car.

SOLD picked up, OBO. Already pulled and sitting on a pallet.

    (Not willing to ship, sorry!)

Npulver, if you want to make the drive, it's yours for $SOLD. I don't want this thing darkening my driveway. Come down on Sunday and there will be other cool E30/E30 dudes working on my swap with me! Do it!

hmm really tempting to just drive up from Houston to get it - I just picked up a cherry 2-owner '89 325i with a blown head gasket...

            How many miles on it?

            Compression or any other info?

What are the other parts you have?

If you want to make that drive, I'lll give you the out-of-towner's SOLD price.

I also have the 'i' model intake, throttle body, and (I think) the MAF.

I also have the Ireland Engineering plug wire set (w/ coilc line and pulse sender line) and an OEM coil, both of which were bought new 5 months ago. $100 for the wires (they're $136 on IE's site) and $35 for the coil (paid $50). Both OBO.

Not sure of the miles (odometer broke at 173K mi), and I never ran a compression check.. all I can tell you is she ran like a top. If you picked this up to use as a '327i stroker' base to use with your 'i' model top end, she'd be a screamer.

Npulver, I did the drive from ND to KC,MO in one shot, from SD would be even easier unless you're way out west. Hotel stay wasn't expensive.. pick up the motor in the morning and drive back!

Bump for fellow SETA owner. Well, sort of.
Slowly, slowly piecing together a real car..

I don't have a crate or anything. You want to arrange to have it picked up somehow, I'm more than willing!
