    Spring Northeast Meet 2008

    When: Spring (TBD)
    Where: TBD

Final date to be nailed down later. Discuss dates... post will be edited accordingly. This will be a rather small meet/greet/part swap I am sure, but we can make it bigger if needed.

I had said March 16th, a Sunday. But that may be to early for some garage queens. So post up some ideas of locales, ideas (F1 anyone?), and times that work.

I was thinking something simple, meet/greet. Or an event like F1. Or something like a cruise up the Kangamangus or something.

e30tech is setting one up right around the same time at the NJ shore.

I'm in, my two cents would be a meet/greet somewhere, March 16 might be a tad early for some. Sundays are always best as some of us losers have to work Saturdays. Would love to check out some members E30's!

March 16th is fine by me. I might not ride up in an E30, though. As long as the salt is gone from the road I'm game.

F1 sounds pretty good to me.

Let's cruise the Kanc! I did it with three cars last spring (it was supposed to be a lot more of us but everyone chickened because of the rain) and it was a blast! We were out all day and drove all over the whites stopping for a few great photo ops. And of course ending with a mandatory sack-shriveling swim in the Basin...

I'll never go to another e30tech meet again. I showed up to the last one in PA, sold someone a set of trailing arms as soon as I pulled up, walked into walmart to piss, and when I walked out everyone was doing donuts and tearing out of the parking lot. Idiots. 2 hours total driving for 5 minutes of stupidity, and risking some assclown drifting their beat ass POS into my car (which may or may not also be a beat ass POS - but at least I respect it).

i am thinking more in may just because of the garage queens we have present mine being one mine is off the roads form October until late April. I think either boston F1 only problem might be younger members aka people not 18, but eh its ok. A kangamanges drive would be good only possible problem might be distance. but if we want something maybe not closer but in mass. and a fun ass drive would be to go on Rt. 2 west it starts becoming a lot of fun past orange.

HAHAHA! Sounds like a GRAND old time!

Personally I'd rather not have a "drive."

I'd rather just meet somewhere, chew the fat, then leave. No donuts, no burnouts (an M42 can't do that anyway), no drifting, no destruction of private property, no driving beyond the limits on public roads. But, that's just me.

No no, you see we include my friend Zach from bf.c who drives the speed limit, and then if people get stupid they have to wait longer for him.

I've mapped out a decent route starting from my shop in Dublin and will be hosting a few drives this spring/summer but I'd also be happy to have a meet and a white mtns cruise too!

That's why F1 is a great venture. You can have fun there.

haha yup. Leaving F1, everyone'll realize how slow and unresponsive their steering really is.

Skyline drive during the day can be fun too. I might have to come see relatives for that one.
