Smoke from driveline

When reving car past 5k there is a definite vibration coming from the driveline area along with smoke and the smell of burning rubber. I'm guessing this could either be the harmonic balancer or guibo. All were replaced within the last year and slightly confused as to what would be causing this...any ideas??

Get under there and check!

Guibo or CSB disintegrated and you are smelling the rubber on the exhaust most likely.

Nothing appears to have disentegrated and have a one piece mandrel system which makes removal a PITA, figured I'd ask here first.

The wire running from tranny to shifter had a wear spot and the balancer was shiny where they rubbed but the smoke that came in cockpit was quite a bit and I can't imagine it was from that...although I'm sure it played a role.

CSB or guibo. What is so hard to figure out?

Either the guibo is rubbing on the shift linkage or more likely the CSB is wobling around and coming apart.
