How much did this one cost you dmitry?

Also how much body work was there? I would love a fresh paint job but down the road later.

Should I get centered cab bushings or offset?

Also is it worth replacing the control arm bushing bracket that threads into the control arm?

Yesterday I spotted a full Black/Striped Hartge Baur Cabrio in East Oakland from the Bart Train. It was in front of a shop on San Leandro St. near the Fruitvale, Oakland station.

heh I rock this shirt everywhere. it may be wearing out a little. two great things about it, first mt favorite car, second it's a good bright blue and no one else wears it, so i'm visible in a crowed to my other friends.
              Much wow

Anyways I'm in virginia and the night before I left, my ignition cylinder took a shit. Just jammed and wouldn't turn past position 1, I had to get it towed home. Is this hard to replace and does anyone have a lock set with keys? I'd assume I have to replace both doors, trunk, glovebox, and ignition just to have them all match.

Hey vivek - i have a spare one if u need. Maybe wash my car in return?

I have keys for it too. Not hard to replace. Although you have to have the bolt knocked out from by the steering column if it doesn't get into 2nd pos. It slides right out if u can get it into 2nd position somehow, just if its totally seized, you need to take the plastic column cover off from underneath...

what you could do in the mean time to start is is take the ignition switch out and start it from there

Offset ones give you more caster and that isn't a bad thing. I have my stock M3 ones floating around somewhere, I went to Treehouse racing ones.

Hey - would anyone possibly be able to help me install my front springs and CABs in the Bay Area?

Willing to drive for some help! I've only done the rear's and know the front's are difficult -looking for some hands-on learning!

My late grandfather helped me back in high school, he installed the fronts while I was at school - and we did the rears together.

It won't come out unless he can get it into 2nd pos.

then of course, use a pair of pliers to start er up each time :)

Didn't know that! I have no problem with more castor.

I'll probably buy the poly ones today.

                            Thanks will.

So my buddy Bruce who's a major role in the e21 legion passed away last week, in his memory I drove the pants off of the e21 through town today, it's still an utter pos hahah.

not the ignition lock cylinder but the actul switch.

Some quick googling seems to say that it needs to be in position 1. Are you sure it needs to get to 2? I'll pop it out when I get home and drive up to your place. Do you have the trunk lock too?
