Yesterday I spotted a full Black/Striped Hartge Baur Cabrio in East Oakland from the Bart Train. It was in front of a shop on San Leandro St. near the Fruitvale, Oakland station.

Anyways I'm in virginia and the night before I left, my ignition cylinder took a shit. Just jammed and wouldn't turn past position 1, I had to get it towed home. Is this hard to replace and does anyone have a lock set with keys? I'd assume I have to replace both doors, trunk, glovebox, and ignition just to have them all match. The first car I ever rode in was an e30

I have keys for it too. Not hard to replace. Although you have to have the bolt knocked out from by the steering column if it doesn't get into 2nd pos. It slides right out if u can get it into 2nd position somehow, just if its totally seized, you need to take the plastic column cover off from underneath...

what you could do in the mean time to start is is take the ignition switch out and start it from there

Hey - would anyone possibly be able to help me install my front springs and CABs in the Bay Area?
Willing to drive for some help! I've only done the rear's and know the front's are difficult -looking for some hands-on learning!
My late grandfather helped me back in high school, he installed the fronts while I was at school - and we did the rears together.

Didn't know that! I have no problem with more castor.
I'll probably buy the poly ones today.
Thanks will.
So my buddy Bruce who's a major role in the e21 legion passed away last week, in his memory I drove the pants off of the e21 through town today, it's still an utter pos hahah.
