Some pics from the SVRA Sonoma Historics.

In other news, my Sprint might be getting new wheels this weekend. Just placed an order for new suspension, and $600 worth of other miscellaneous odds and ends.

It was Christmas in June here.... A big pile of expensive parts from Alfaholics and Centerline.

Now to get the suspension off the car, cleaned up and this stuff installed. :) I'll have another very cool update tomorrow.

The Sprint got new shoes... American Racing LeMans wheels, very rare in 4x108 bolt pattern. Its the only Sprint I've ever seen to wear them.

You mean the GTA wheels? About $200 each plus shipping. http://classicalfa.com/categories.ph...ormance-Wheels

I've never liked the wheels, too plain, too boring. I'd never put a set on a car.

These are Alfa phone dial wheels. Also ugly.

i was thinking about these more period correct wheels:

Those are GTA wheels. The LeMans wheels I have are not 1959 period correct, but are 1969 period correct.

The only true period correct alloy wheels that the Sprint could have had are the TZ wheels. They look like the stock steel wheels and are so overdone its not funny. I'm not building the car to be just another car in the herd, I'm looking to build something that could have been, but is totally unique as well.
