I vote for either Irvine spectrum or UCI in and out since they have a lot of space, things to do and are close to the freeways. Wastelands is too secluded, I think we'd get bored after about an hour.

When is your car going to be ready? =P It'd be cool to have a turbo stroker, M/S50E30's, E30 M3's, M tech cabbies, 190 Evo's, big six E30's show up. The 31st is cool with me. Good way to bring in the new year!

Wellll, it's sort of ready right now. I am gonna go get the exhaust done Saturday I think. Other than that, I just have a few things here and there I've got to do.

guys, there's a possibility that I could have a place lined up that could hold about 100 cars total in a resturant's parking lot. Place is called Tijuana's (www.tiajuanas.com) Place is in irvine right off the 5 freeway @ Sand Canyon, and about 1 mile away from the 405 freeway. Manager says if we could give him a head/car count, he could possibly block off the lot for the amount of time we will be there.

The condition is that since he is willing to host the meet, it would be great if the people that show up actually have lunch, eat, whatever at the restuarant. The menu and prices are listed on their site. There's no bar tab or quota that has to be met, just that since he's hooking up the lot, he would like it if he had some business as well. I got this idea from the big Benz meet that was held here in october. Lot was nice and big, off in a back corner street right off the main road.

if you guys plan on having this during lunch, this could possibly be the place. if not, then we'll have to go elsewhere. also, remember, irvine = way too conservative of a city. none of that burning out, fooling around type of mayhem.

                      just a suggestion.

So if you guys are interested, let me know.

You dont have to tell me, I dont think anyone here was on the boards long enough to remember how many times they called helicopters and pulled us all over asnd told us not to go back to their city. Weve gotten "kicked out" of Irvine so many times. The pigs actually confiscated a camera we were filiming with to see if there was any "illegal activities" filmed. I was so pissed at the kid who just gave it up. We actually made the L.A.Times one time. I still have the article. Man those were the glory days of the weekly 30+ cars sunday brunches.

Neh, i made it out to the last two brunches hahaha

Anyways, what time on the 31st? And did we decide for sure where yet? I'd be down for that spot Ryan (AutoM3otives) was suggesting.

Yeah, Im talking about 2001-2002 brunches. Every week S.D./O.C./and L.A. crew would meet up at Wheelpower and tear down or up PCH, or something of the sort and have lunch and pictures. We were pulling about 35 cars each week. There was heart. But then people grew up and all that nonsense crazyness. haha.

That restaurant place sounds like a good idea. Reserve a table for 20+ people, and eat some delicious food.

Here's what i can tell you about tijuana's.

The lot is pretty big, can hold up to about 100ish cars. The building itself looks like an old... train depot, warehouse type building. The inside of the restuarant is split into 2 parts, left side being the main sit down area, while the right side is for the bar. The outside of the building facing the parking lot also features a nice sitdown area with tables where you can eat and have a view of the whole parking lot of cars as well. Below are some pics from the MBZ meet to give you some perspective of the area.
