Swap gurus please help! Clutch question

My set up is as follows:
    1989 325i
    97 s52
    84 early model getrag 260
    M20 clutch
    M20 single mass flywheel
    M20 slave
    M20 fork

My car was running and driving until my 89 getrag decided to stop working.

I have just finished installing the early model getrag as i sourced it for cheap and swapped over all my other parts.

The issue: car off the transmission shifts like butter. Car on, cannot shift. Start the car in gear and the wheels are spinning. I can step on the brake and stop the wheels without it stalling so the issue has got to be a minescule variation.

To run the early model transmission do i need a different slave, fork, tob, pressure plate? What part of my formula is wrong? Please help id really like to get this car on the road and potentially drive it to h2o.

Can i just extend the push rod on the slave? will that have any ill effects?

I believe this is the part number for the throw out bearing that you want.
