SOLD!
Not looking forward to writing this. I need a larger car and I just don’t have room for the e30 : (
Here is a short breakdown of the car. I have been commuting with it a couple days a week since last October, the year before that it did not see much action. I also commuted a couple days a week in most of 2012, I purchased it from an R3V member in December 2011. It’s really a turn key car, super tight and fun to drive. There are a few small issues that I listed below the description.
I really want to sell this to someone who loves this car as much as I do. Please only inquire if you’re serious about buying (sorry no trades - out of room!)
$6000
Chassis has about 338k (odometer is orig. and working) engine was replaced a few years ago with a refreshed M42. The Transmission has been kept up and shifts/feels perfect. See below for details on the suspension, brakes, etc.
The car does not leak or burn anything.
I’ve put a few pictures in this post from when I got it in 2011 only difference is the front seats. I'll create a full gallery this weekend. Feel free to ask any questions. Thanks! Pic links at the bottom of this post.

- paint chips on the hood - some small blemishes around the car but cleans up very well - Paint in good condition
- a few small dings - the worst being on the drivers side door where the lock is - unnoticeable at first glance but the drivers side look mechanism does not work. I use the keyless entry mostly, the trunk and passenger side central locking work fine.
-missing a piece of shadow line trim from the drivers side - I have the replacement piece but need a clip to install
-some light carpet staining on the passengers side - after the very heavy rain we had a month ago I had some water come in from the door seals (my guess)
-One dash light out behind the fan speed dial
-two very small cracks in the dash that are sealed with compound and not growing - other than that crack free dash
I will be shooting photos this weekend and can show the car then.
