Long story short, my friend locked my keys in my trunk. No power locks, no remote access, nothing. First locksmith couldn't do anything, now we're waiting for another one. Any tips would be appreciated

Have them unlock the cabin. Pop off the rear seat back and punch out the metal cutout for the ski pass. Reach through and grab the keys.

^this. easier then breaking through you tail light. Pop the window seal lock strip with a flat head. Then the back glass should be easily removable. Just fold back the rubber seal disconnect the heater lines & your in. Remove rear bench seat, take out the bolts that hold the top bench & kick in the ski pass.

I think I would rather take out a tail light to get the keys than my trunk lockShawn @ Bimmerbuddies

Call the dealer, they keep key cut outs by VIN, in an emergency they can request the key to be cut locally instead of in Germany.Your resource to do-it-yourself and interesting bmw and e30 stuff: www.rtsauto.com
