Photography Challenge #1

So here is the first challenge:

Landscapes/Seascapes

Rules:
Only one entry per member (i.e. one picture.)
Any picture you've taken is eligible regardless of time taken and camera.
You can do all the post processing you want (crop, rotation, and levels).
Feel free to add exif info in post.
You may vote once for whomever you want, even yourself.
If you can please post Camera/Settings/ISO/ et cetera.
Deadline for submissions is Friday January 25 at 23:59:59, USA Eastern.
Voting Begins Saturday
Deadline for voting is Sunday January 27 23:59:59, USA Eastern. A new "poll" thread will be started to vote in.

When the time period ends you should make a new post titled "Photo Contest #1 Poll" and in that have the images listed with corresponding #s to vote in the poll. And put in the regulations a entry size constraint (like within 800x800) so it will make your life easier when you make the poll post.

Its worked pretty well on other sites.. like gtplanet

oh and I would definitely do it weekly or bi-weekly.. keeps people more interested

Now that I think of it, we should do it weekly or biweekly. It'll get me shooting more and keep us all into it.

If we post multiple submissions on this thread, how does it get narrowed down to the final one that gets voted on? It seems with so many people submitting their picture the first day, they might want to change it. I suppose we can edit our original post.

In response to the posts above, I changed the rules to make it a bi-weekly contest, so that everyone has a chance to shoot over the weekend. New end date is the 25, and voting will occur over the weekend following (26 and 27). Winner is announced monday morning and they can create a new contest thread with the topic of there choice.
