Today was a great day I got a new dme off ebay and well my non vanos started right up. Sounds great to with a single 2 1/2" exaust, magnaflow 11216, and a walker cat, not to raspy.
Thanks to everyone who helped me out on here with advice. Just gotta get the temp gauge figured out and I think Im gonna need another fan. I just have a electric on there and I think with ac it wont be enough I switched out the stock electric fan for a 14" 1400 cfm electric.

Congrats...What did you do for a your swap?
Havent got to drive it yet. I lost the clip to the shifter linkage some how? Hoping to take it for a drive tomarrow. Idk why im not getting a signal to my temp gauge yet though. Im probably just gonna T it and run a mechanical gauge.

the thing drives well its pretty much night and day difference over my 2.7I with a port and polish and a reground cam. I cant wait to get a chip for it. I want to run a lower gears than 3.73. What else is out there in the larger case. I was thinking like 3.90's or somthing.

wells hears a sound clip its a little raspy but I dont know if i want to run a resonator? Its not to loud in the car.

Thanks for the soundclip, I might pick up the same muffler for my exhaust. Magnaflow said it's quiter than the popular 14815. I am curious how it will sound with bigger displacement.

It sounds a lot better now with a resinator.
