Viton O-rings for your DOHC oil filter housing leak. $3

I have 25 Viton O-rings to fix my oil filter housing leak. I only need 2.

For $2.99 I will put 2 in an envelope and mail it to you so you can fix yours, too. What an awesome deal!

See this link for background and discussion.

    Hmmm. 6/25*2 + .41 = ... how is that an awesome deal?

As time went on, the factory developed the car each year, making it faster, more comfortable, and capable of handling at higher speeds.
You don’t want this. You want the trickiest, most dangerous, oldest model you can find. Only then can you prove to the world that you’re a man.

It's an awesom deal because they were $8 plus $9 for UPS shipping. If you need these it's either $17 or $3. Which is cheaper?

      Plus, postage is .42!

        New, lower price!

I did mine this morning and it was definately worth the hassle; the old O-rings were shot and visibily leaking.

This isn't a standard BMW part and you won't get Viton, plus you'll pay much more in shipping.

Do you have an e36 oil filter housing on your m54?

yeah what the hell are these for? the only leak i hear about from e36 oil filter housing is the profile style gasket that requires removal of the whole damn assembly.

Different o-rings. Theres is 2 stupid little caps on the back of the housing by the pressure switch. Not all housings have them.
