Adam's dyno results were really puzzling
The idea is that I have a "known good" motor so I can do baseline dynos on my dual-DISA manifold and then swap on the new one (and a different...

Heat.
Our cabin heat like most engines comes from engine waste heat. Unfortunately, the N52 is efficient and doesn't have as much waste. One of the benefits of the electric water pump is...Last edited by hoveringuy; Today, 08:36 AM.

adam.nonis was just asking about this so I thought I'd post the weight loss from switching to the Magnesium diet...

Is the car an Ix?
I'm not clear on how you can be having clearance issues on stock brakes, and then solve that with Wilwoods.
I can run exactly one wheel over mine

I agree with Panici on this, unless you're going to be tracking then stock brakes with grabbier pads is fine. I even tracked mine that way for several years, the real motivation for me to change to BBK...

My mini-depot overhaul is complete. I'm pleased with the utility of the new reservoir, the level sender works great! I need to add a flow restrictor to the bleed line because the 3/8" line flows...

That's just a bonus.
It's a structural element because I have large, flat sides and 10psi really adds-up!...

I absolutely love the fact that the bolt goes into the mount, and not a mount with studs. SO much easier!! It also looks like you designed it to take tension, is that right?

I welded a 3/4" bung to a standard radiator.
Adam's ECU was straight-up cloned from mine, which has the Z4 base code.
I don't know how 22RPD did yours, if it has the E90...

CONGRATS!!
Everything that Adam said.
The EKP will go into failsafe mode and run continuously when t doesn't have a valid CAN signal, when it's working correctly you'll be able...Last edited by hoveringuy; 11-16-2024, 10:36 AM.

Good work!
You will absolutely, positively need INPA working when you start it.
I used it to verify each injector and coil individually by firing them, same with all the sensors,...

I'm on rubber mounts. The Noise, Vibration, Harshness is not as good as E90 hydro mounts, but it's not bad like poly, either....
