VIS Carbon Fiber Hood $475.00 - Pick up only!

Used VIS CF hood. $475.00. Going for 650+ new.
Had it on my m3 for about 3 years, probably done about 4k miles with the hood on the car. The exterior of the hood is in GREAT shape - clear coat is like new, always waxed, etc.

The bad - there is a small crack that is not structural on the underside of the hood. I tried to fix it with bondo, and made a little bit of a mess. Basically, it needs a quick shot of black paint and it will be back in the game - I have just been too lazy to do it. You would have no idea that the crack was even there and I somewhat wish I had just left it alone.

I'm hoping that someone local can buy it and save the shipping - I'm not really interested in shipping this part. This is a smokin deal for someone in the PNW/NorCal because shipping is a bear on this thing, and the price is very solid for what you get.

The price is $475.00. To eliminate the r3v haggling, I am going to be up front and say that is a FIRM price. You would be well in excess of 750 to get this shipping to your house new, and it's in great shape. So, that's the price.

I accept paypal, money order, and cash. I DO NOT ACCEPT PERSONAL CHECKS, BUT - I will accept it if you are willing to go with me to the bank and watch me cash it on the spot.

I've been a member here for years, ebay username is Guitarman953, and I have been active in the BMW community for years. Buy with confidence, and you will get what you pay for.

There are a lot of pictures of my car with this hood, so I will only post a few.

Thanks for looking! Please send me a PM with any questions or interest!

~10lbs. the VIS hood has a fiberglass core so it's a bit heavier than a full CF hood.
