I have one more set for sale of the Recaro seat bracket adapters that Andrew and myself made. These brackets allow the mounting of any-model Recaro seat to stock E30 floor-mount seat brackets.

All hardware is included, and the mounting system retains the stock E30 seat belt catches. Construction is precision-welded steel, painted black to blend in seamlessly with the rest of the seat hardware. This kit covers installation for both passenger and driver-side seats.

Nice work! Does the seat sit higher, lower or the same?

The seat sits about an inch lower than stock height (with my MkII Recaros), I don't know what height other seats will sit at. But having the lower position is awesome for me, I'm 6' 1", and with my helmet on for auto-x, I had no clearance at all. Also, with my super-small steering wheel, sitting lower makes it so the top of the wheel doesn't block the gauges.

Cool design, completely different direction than I went. Now that I see these it looks a lot easier then the way I built mine too.

They fit all Recaros? My SRD's have 3 holes on the bottom of the seat.

We know they fit Recaro Speeds, Erick used a set of them on his seats. Looks like all Recaro seats use the same bolt pattern. We only have 2 holes on each side, because one hole would fall right under one of the bracket mount points.

Psyops, we can always do more. The one set I have for sale right now is just the last one that's completed.

I wish you guys started making this before I bought 2 recaro sliders, much cleaner than mine will be. Oh well...

Jandy I think you should measure the distance bolt center to bolt center so that people can confirm it'll fit their seats, although I think you're right that recaro only uses one bolt pattern for the bottom mount seats.

Would it be possible for someone to post pics of Recaro Speeds or SRD's installed with these brackets. I'd like to see the height before I commit to buying.

I'd take a set for both driver and passenger seats.

Question: Do you get the other part of the base from E30 sport seats? I have a set of Euro option E28 Recaro seats and I know they won't bolt up.
