    New here to R3VL

Hey guys...Just wanted to say hello and introduce myself. My name is Justin from AZ. My buddy from work gave me this *MINT* '85 325e;). The story behind it is that when he went to turn it over it made a grinding sound. Thought it was a bad starter and replaced it. No good. He pulled the plugs out and found that the 3rd spark plug had its electrode smashed in and a "v" notched out of the threads. Since he didnt want to spend money on it....he gave it to me. Car will not turn over. I see a few things wrong right off...like the brake master to intake manifold line is snapped and some sort of square box on the intake is missing its internal piece (have no idea what it is). If you have any advice on how to get this thing running or what to look for lemme know. I know the basics but you guys know E30's....Anyways, the build will be slow but I am gonna keep it for the rest of my life...lol. I have searched my ass off for sedan mod pics. I found a few but have NO CLUE what wheels/body kit will flow on a prefacelift. If you have any suggestions...throw them down. Also, a motor swap and 5 or 6 speed will be done...just dont know what the hell to do for a combo. My goal is about 450HP. Here are 2 paths I might go. If u have info on them..can you hook me up? Anyways, here is the car and my few other projects. I hope u like....:drink:

Here is the car i would like info on (not mine)....

Here is my 85 325e POS.....

Thanks. It pretty much has everything done to it (even a 5->6 speed swap)...only thing is motor needs to be dealt with. It gets me into enough trouble as it is...:-x

that's what we call a falcon punch buddy.

welcome to here, that's an impressive goal for that e30, what engine are you planning on dropping in there?

The first pic looks a like a late model (1989 on) sedan, we have a few threads dedicated to them...

If lucky, the E36 will die peacefully, in its natural habitat, and be given the prestigious honor of donating its parts to an E30

Nice cars. Don't take this the wrong way but... with all those nice rides, why did you settle for a "Pos 325e"?

                        Love your 325ci

What's a falcon punch? I didn't catch what you were referring to. And I have absolutely no clue what I should put in there. I want something PnP if at all possible strapped to a nice turbo to get me about 450. That sounds reasonable for a DD...lol

Thanks for the love..;) Well...I don't mean to really say POS.. But thats what it is in its current static state. I have always wanted an E30. I wanted a coupe but the sedan was free so I will pick my battles...lol. It is pretty weathered and I know that I could probably pick up a better conditioned platform but I am attracted to the whore. I want to get her at least running. Then start on the dents in the body and pick a full kit for it once and for all. I really like the white DD I have pictured above and I am gonna model mine like it. I just need to find all the info. Plus, I am going to redo the whole interior since my coworker does the interiors for the helicopters I help build/modify.:p
