    my baby is sick

I don't know wht is wrong with my baby. She starts, idles, and runs fine...until...i stomp on the gas. Then she will accelerate for a very short time. Then its like she dies. My car will r3v to about 4k, and then that is it. I'm not sure what it is. Can someone please help me. Pleez, pleez, pleeez, help me.

Oh my bad. I drove it. I tried to go faster and it would not go. so i went home got some tools and tightened some things up. Then i drove it again...and it did the same thing. i tightened the bands on the intake and a few other things. Put some gas in it tried again, and still will not r3v past 4k rpm. my car is an '88 325is auto.

There are several possible causes, but the place to start will be the fuel system. Run the pressure and delivery tests in the Bentley manual.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

Cool, I went around the car and tightened some more things. I found out my batt. neg. connection was loose. Then went into the engine area and tightened up some things. I also depressurized the fuel system. I started it up and took it out to see if that helped, it must have...at least for now, cuz she is running fine now. I will try do the press. check on the fuel system one day soon.

              THANKS GUYS.

Yeah, I mean over the phone. He says that it sounds like the hobbit that turns the crankcase is depressed and needs therapy. We need to get us a new hobbit. They's from the land beyond time. Land beyond time's also gonna hook us up with the unicorn for the radiator. I ain't even gonna tell you about that haunted air conditioner. Plus the air filter, that's made of plutonium. That's gonna involve Superman, so, y'know, plus shipping from Krypton. Then the cow jumped over the moon.
