Hmmm. Seems as though someone has added a liter of engine displacement or so, looks to have some sort of exhaust gas-driven hairdryer added too. Personally, I am appreciative of the efforts and wish you well in both driving enjoyment and your attempts to retain your driving privilege.

    Closing SOON!

What is goin' on indeed! It's like seeing my own future before my eyes! I can't wait to start my build, I getting so excited.

I don't know a thing about tuning... what fuel managment are you running? I was planning on a Miller WAR+MAF combo, any insight?

Go megasquirt or go home. I am running an adaptor but in the future will wire direct to components using the megasquirt harness.

I will be running megasquirt boost by rpm to overcome the early torque peak of the M30. I am going to watch my pulse width of injectors and tune for flat torque (fuel consumption increasing linearly with rpm) from 3500 to 6800 or so. I have 72lb low Z injectors, and everything is sized for around 550rwhp. I have coolingmist methanol injection ready to go, as well. ARP head studs for low boost, but I'm getting a cam regrind, finishing wasted spark, and O-ringing the block before I go for the full monty. The plan is to top out megasquirt's MAP at 22psi, and then evaluate if I'm still alive.

Car is totally stripped and is on coilovers near full high. Racing seats soon. TRM 255lph fuel pump. Tires are 225/50/16 star spec, haters can $*&% off, I need the sidewall. The tread width on 225 star specs is massive (check out tirerack's tables, they're wider than many 235 and 245 fitments). Probably will need more tire + flares but this setup is cheap and the wheels are light. Going to make/paint covers so they look just like BBS.

Intake piping is full 3", throttle body is 90mm M60B40 with custom adaptor plate. M30b35 intake runners are 47mm, so the stock throttlebody is the restriction. My piping will act like a plenum at full throttle now :)

Intercooler is 31x3x12, largest that fits comfortably in an E30

Exhaust will be 4" straight back. Planning on passing emissions by running alcohol.

At 18 psi you will be killing modded Z06's. The raping on your streets is going to be disgusting. lol..!

I lost by 2 cars to a heavily modded GTR he was putting down 630awhp, I spun from a 60 roll.
As long as you get traction you should be able to pull on any car that's in the 550whp range.

Did you reel him in at all once you hooked up? I have a version of megasquirt 3.0.3.r with fuzzy logic (variable slip dialed in by user) that I would like to set up before I kill myself.

No he got out 2 cars and stayed there. Plus they have the DCT the shifts are what make them that much faster.

Oof. I always forget about the shifts

My car would need a new clutch to even hang with yours, it's only rated to 450torque (6-puck). I think it might be a shade underrated, but still. Your 620 peak torque would dominate it, you basically have a flat HP curve (once you get a bigger compressor housing, you'll be 7xx on power with tuning I imagine).

You could switch to a 3 puck, that will hold more. Get it running and see were your at first.
How close are you to start up?
