FS: 4.4L V8 with 5 speed trans

Looking to see if anyone is interested in my engine and trans. The V8 is out of a e39 540i that I parted out, i believe it had a little over 100k on it at the time. This is the 4.4L non vanos. The trans is from a e34 540, the 5 speed is smaller and lighter then a 6. I also have 300mm e30 mounts that can be negotiated only if you buy the swap I will not separate the mounts

Can you clarify "300mm e30 mounts" are these motor mounts? more people will be interested if you can state what else is needed ie trans mounts, what drive shaft... just trying to help out, looks like a sweet deal though.

the 300mm mounts are the custom mounts required to mount this in a e30. This sale is only for the motor and trans, no wiring harness, no clutch or flywheel as the motor was an auto.

Needed for the swap are a big guibo or e30 m3 drive shaft they both work. I do have a few factory e39 headers that need to be cut up and re-worked but nothing unexpected for this swap

I do own a very nice M3 driveshaft that could be worked into a combined sale

considering e34 540s never came with 5sp manuals.... unless you mean 5sp auto.

Probably from a E34 530i. Common tranny to use with M60 if one can't find a 6speed from 540i.
