    Boso exhaust.

I plan on doin a boso exhaust on my e30. Should I run a cat or not? I need to know cause I want a good sound not too loud. Will a muffler shop know what a boso exhaust is?

    Not sure if serious o.O

If legit, then no a normal exhaust shop will have no clue wtf your taking about. Best you can do is buy/make said tips and tell/show them how you would like them to be mocked up. Not sure what sound difference a cat will make

      How fun.

Keep your cat. It helps reduce rasp a shit ton.
Just tell them what you want to have done.
      Draw it for them even.

I think the op is going for a "boso" style exhaust which is pictured above in many different styles...

Just use slant cut, single wall truck exhaust tips.
