So, some of you may have seen my thread two weekends ago about me blowing up my M50 stroker...
For those of you that didn't check this out:
Basically I destroyed the motor at Summit Point before even completing a full lap around the course...sucks. Anyway, my buddy Mr.Slacker came to the rescue because he had recently purchased a 97 M3 parts car :D
After some sexual favors and cash I acquired the motor and went full steam ahead with the swap process.
Thankfully my buddy has a Eurovan + dolly that we were able to use to transport Betty upstate. I was hoping to finish everything over the weekend but we decided to hold off and wait till next weekend because I wanted to take care of some gaskets before dropping in the S52.
I'm hoping to get her up and running this coming weekend.
OH, last but not least, big thanks to Matt @ TRM for shipping me a tuned S52 chip AND bataangpinoy for letting us crash at his place over the weekend :)
Here's some pics from this past weekend along with the carnage!

The donor car

Oh...those are supposed to be straight right? OUCH.

Disconnecting the harness

My buddy working on disconnecting everything from the S52

Separated tranny from motor, figured it would be much easier to get it outta there. The clutch and flywheel setup are up for grabs btw.
16lb steel flywheel + sachs sport clutch and pressure plate. 20k on the setup, $350 shipped - GETRAG 250 only

And the poor paperweight is out

Installed Stewarts high performance water pump and started prepping S52 for swap (oil pan etc)

Now onto the pics of the damage!

As she sits, waiting for her new transplant
