A few of my friends on FB/r3v told me to upload my current build that I have been hiding for over a year now. I would have been done sooner but life is life and money takes time to dump into a third car. So here is what I have been working on!
Reason for build: I used to own a '86 325e sedan but it was too hard to build and drive the car at the same time. So I hunted around some for a rust free shell in NY or PA. Took me forever =(
Info on how I got the car: Bought it from a BMW tech that wanted to part it out. I offered to buy it all, so a deal was struck and I went home with a rust free roller!
Onto the details and PICTURES!!!!
Goals for build are to make a daily/weekend tracker with all the stuff I love...performance! This build did not happen over night or was planned for that. Most of the people that know me is I don't cut corners and I go the extra mile for the right product(research). When I started this build it was undertaken with the idea of; proper useful performance, that will be USED on tracks and Solox events.

This is how I got her(wheels were on though), bag in drivers rear window is from me forgetting to roll the window up BEFORE pulling the engine. So I used a trash bag, water tight for over a year now.

Drive train pulled.

How she sat after everything was pulled.

Next thing to do was rebuild the rear suspension and install my rebuilt 2.93 LSD. All bushings are AKG and the trailing arm ones are IE.

Press out sub bushings and I used a torch to melt the trailing arm ones out. I don't own a puller haha

OEM steering bushing was cut out and an IE polly one install. Difference noticed on first wheel turn...no joke!

Grinder! (waffleswaffleswaffleswaffleser blew up a disk a day later almost taking my finger with it)

Slotted and level.

I used the vise and a 5lb hammer to make the bends.

Bushings notched to clear the longer bolts and brackets finished for the night.

CNC tabs being welded in.

All done =) time for install
Close up

Saw this bracing someplace so I made up the braces and welded them in.

Rear suspension rebuilt, blasted and coated in two layers of engine temp paint then undercoated.

Massive booster delete kit install(return spring tab removed) I used the pedal bolt hole as a center point to cut.

Ground smooth and rounded the welds to make it pretty.

I installed the whole kit outside of the car and found the point of level for the push rod. So I marked it out and used my drill press to make a level dual hole for the new bolt and sleeve. The bracket below that is the new return spring spot. I welded that in place instead of using the bolt and nut provided(option).

Stock lower left and fabbed one far right to show the difference.

Installed, I used the shorter push rod because the longer one made the pedal stick out 1/2 more than the clutch. They are adjustable FYI.

Installed W/750Li MC for now(planning on a e34 525 MC)

UUC 2pc rotors with the correct .81mm ones.

Installed and clear both my Rotas AND my BBS RS that I have been building!!!!!!
