I had never seen a drill were one hole broke into the other.

Probably because wheels are usually "filled and drilled"

            These were just drilled.

well the wheels appear to be hub centric so they should be ok. though i have seen higher end aftermarket wheels with 4 and 5 lug pattern that look like that.

LOL. Yeah I've seen where they reuse 1 hole then redrill the rest even if it protrudes into an existing hole. I guess they figure it's fine.

I'm definitely not happy with that. When I ordered the wheels and they told me they'd have to drill me set from a 5x100 set I assumed It would like any other universal rim. I really hate universal wheels, but I figured I'd have center caps so no one would those one millions holes, and also it would help me to sell them faster when the time comes to get rid of them. I didn't expect this. But they ride like any other wheel so no complaints so far.

the two holes look fine, maybe just get the other two filled and re-drilled?

It's different because those wheels are cast or even forged that way. If the wheel is already made and you are drilling into it some of the strength is lost.

Anyway I hope you didn't pay full price for those.
