    take two

hey guys im fairly new to r3v and figured id show you guys my 91 318is. i got the car from my bosses daughters boyfriend who was driving thru a parking lot and smacked into a car backing out of a parking spot, it was totaled and sat at his house for a year or two. at 15 i knew i wanted a e30 and was talking to my boss about them and he brought up the 318 that his daughters boyfriend had and he told me that he wanted it out of his drive way and said 50 bucks and its yours. i couldnt turn it down, i got it towed to my house and started taking it apart. the radiator support was smashed in and was recoved by taking it to a local body shop and they put it on a frame rack and pulled it out. by the time i got my license the 318 was ready for the road. during last spring i got it painted and it def makes the car pop. i love this car and wish i could do more im trying to buy wheels but im still in high school and with college coming up next year money is tight so little by little im adding things. its lowered by bilsteins tune suspension some kit i got though work and has the same drop as H&R sport springs, sparco strut brace, and a plaid headliner haha. let me know what you guys think

when i first got the car

after getting back from the body shop

    before paint

    after paint (rolling shot)

    interior (shitty fisheye)

    as it sits now

yezzir, to match the rest of theme you have going on with your kidney's and euro grills. how's the m42 going? make sure you don't neglect things such as the timing tensioner.

That looks sick. How are you liking your mudflaps? I had to take mine off because I almost shredded them on the twisties...I'd say our cars have the same ride height...

Wow, Nice recovery. I wouldn't be in a rush with the wheels, the weaves look great. Few things...Chrome kidneys, smileys, Euro grills(abrahammotorsports). That would make the front end pop. Remember though, maintenance > mods.

thanks! it was the biggest pain in the ass though my gf sewed loops for the headliner rails so it fits like oem and you have to take the rear glass out to tuck the headliner underneath the rear gasket. it was worth it but its slowly starting to fade :curse:

I'm not a fan of chrome on red so I like it. And I'll end up painting my wheels like that some time soon also.
The first car I ever rode in was an e30

jesus, really nice body shop work. your body lines don't tell a story of it being in an accident at all, props.
