So...a candidates viability to run is decided on his supporters? That logic is about as sound as assimilating voters by race.

How well would a similarly organized white group on a republican's website fair in the eyes of voters? It would be shot down without given a shred of respect and called out as a racially motivated organization...as it should. Things like this perpetuate the segregation of blacks, they're labelling themselves as less valuable by justifying the need to "overcome" whatever is in their way.
