    E28 M5 Content

Picked up an '88 M5 on Tuesday, as a driver/project. 155k, zero rust. original seats pretty much destroyed, black leather seats from another e28 are in right now.
Only problems I have encountered so far would be a slight pulling to the right (steering box or tie rod, idk haven't had time to check yet) and a tendency to puke a little coolant after a high RPM run.
What I would like to do is bring it back to a more aesthetic M5. Right now the rough interior needs a lot of attention, as well as several dings and dents on the outside. Apparently someone attempted to steal this car; there is a small 3/4" dent/hole underneath the driver's door keyhole from what might have been a chisel. Glass moonroof does not retract into roof, track needs to be adjusted. Driver's side rear door lock is inop, unknown cause.
All in all, this is a place to keep my ass on track and show some photos. Any input is appreciated, I figured this was an opportunity to own a legend. Onto the pics

That's all I have for now, unfortunately I have been super busy this week trying to get this registered/insured

In for content. My next car will have to be an e28 M5.

thanks guys. I'm definitely going to try to bring it back to its former glory, as much as financially possible. Not stancebro-ing anything here!
If anyone would happen to have 171mm centercaps from 16" style d weaves, I'd take them off your hands. 62 bucks ea from bavauto...

put it on the m registry this morning, I'll check out mye28.com
As of now, the PO put it on bilstein sports and some kind of spring, lowers it a tad. Definitely don't want to go crazy with it, but I hear that's what most owners do when the rear Self-Leveling Shocks blow out (370 each to replace)
