WTB: e30 'vert, stick, any color BUTT red! MI, will travel

I would like to buy a vert to enjoy this beautiful weather!!
What I want

:
e30
Really want a 318
Alpine is my first color choice
a half decent top would be nice too
beauty queens need not apply(probably can't afford the garage bitches either)

The summer is slipping by so fast and I need a 'vert in drivable condition, and I hope the top isn't in too bad of shape...

I'm not rich but I could come up with 3500 if I had too 2750 would be ALOT easier though...

So if you've got one, or see one on CL, or see one randomly driving around Let me know I wanna get this done

I like it with black like yours but most are tan... I test drove one today and it made me feel a little too cali valley girl

How was the red vert in Bay city MI? I've been looking at it on craigs. Any issues besides it being red?

Test drive went alright... Smelled clutch(might have been just blowing some dust off though 'cause it was grabby), noise from rear (strut mount I assumed), a little rust in battery tray, Suspension was super "squishy", tires are garbage
had a few broken trim type things, a couple dead blubs in the dash, the obc was wiggin out, cracked tali light, paint looks good from 10 ft, Needs a rear main seal, and a front diff seal and maybe a timing chain tensioner as it sounded a little "diesel"ish
Guy had 2 F'in HUGE 12's in the trunk absolutely ruined the handling
No records, he only owned it 2 years and didn't know much about it's history and only had 1 dealer sticker in the door jamb
New water pump, and aftermarket radio(looked sloppily installed)

If this one doesn't work out though I am staying away from RED(which is funny I usually like a red car but something about the 'vert in red turned me off)
