I find these gymkhana videos entertaining but am certainly not on the "Ken Block is God/The Stig/Senna/best driver ever/my redneck uncle" bandwagon.
I watched a clip of him on TG Australia in one of the RWD Aussie Ford Falcons and what to my wondering eyes should appear, but a 404 Driving Skill Not Found error did appear.
I lay down my opinion on Ken Block's driving only because you proclaimed today "Gymkhana 5 day".
Believe it or not, I'm in the same boat as you. And I completely respect your opinion.
I find them entertaining, and there is actually fresh ideas in each video which takes some creative planning I'm sure. I'm not going to say he's the best driver either. I see the videos for what they are, entertainment, and something different. I'm more impressed at the fact that they are marketing stunts, which I'm sure do quite well pushing their products.
Your 404 comment made me chuckle, perhaps because of an eminent server switch I need to pull off today.

I can't believe they had the ability to close down part of SF for practice/filming. I do like the interesting things they throw in the videos such as doing donuts on a high bank oval (WTF dizzy). My day would have been ruined if I wasn't able to state my opinion on an internet forum with a new Ken Block video before some young buck got an e-boner thinking that one might purchase a Fiesta, some DC kicks, and slam an energy drink and instantly slalom trolleys.
You gotta load up on Red Vines and cherry cola at bare minimum to pull that stuff off.
I cant watch youtube at work but its the one in San Francisco then I was there. If there's a part where he goes aroun two cable cars I'm somewhere in the background in a white Toyota Avalon. lol

Agreed. Shutting down the Universal Studios Tour (I must have been there a day before they did their run, useless fact) must have cost money. But this, this must have cost booku bucks and countless handshakes.
