    1988 bmw m3 - 2.5l

    CAR HAS BEEN SOLD

It is finally time to reluctantly sell my E30 M3. I have too many cars and not enough time. I daily drove the car for quite some time, but now it just doesn't get driven enough. I have documents detailing maintenance history. The car will come with a current California smog.

    Chassis:
    Diamantschwarz with black interior
    Clean title
    164k miles
No rust that I have found
Hood and driver's fender are DOT-R, I was told a parking lot impact but can't say for certain *edit* I goofed, driver's fender has original VIN tag *edit*

    Driveline:
2.5L S14 with ~50k miles, built by Turner, stock head(a pair of cams would really wake her up)
    S52 timing chain tensioner
    Stromung Exhaust
    Urethane motor and tranny mounts
Routine fluid changes and valve adjustments
    A/C removed
BMW X5 shift lever(stock E30 lever length, shortened throw, the best!)

    Suspension:
    Bilstein HD's on stock springs.
Thicker front sway bar(can't recall the brand)
    E38 16x8 basketweaves

    Exterior:
    Evo 2 front lip

    Interior:
    Upgraded head unit
    Upgraded speakers
Voltage and oil pressure gauges in console

    Issues:
Driveline vibration(needs a CSB, guibo, or a u-joint, spare driveshaft included)
Small wear spot on driver's seat leather
I removed the P.O.'s subwoofers from the trunk, and there are still a few hanging wires that need to be cleaned up
Clear is peeling on hood, and some rock chips on front...

    Asking price: $16000/obo

They all sound cool, but I'm trying to reduce my cars at the moment. The only trades I would consider are an E39 M5 or an E46 M3 in daily drivable shape.

The link is expired. It would have to be one hell of a car, because Chicago is awfully far.
