So I'm selling my slighly wrecked 1990 325iS. Car was rolled only 2.5 times (landed on roof). I wasn't going but MAYBE 20mph when this happened so most of the body strength is still there.
Car would be a great track candidate. It has a HIGHLY desired "slicktop" (no sunroof for you track noobs) which makes this car have a minimum price of $1000.
Pros:
Only 335k pampered HIGHWAY ONLY miles
Never raced or overrevved
Rebuilt engine - has fresh coat of paint on all exterior surfaces... looks new
3.73 LSD - cracked at the input flange, output flanges, and rear cover has a hole but all this could be easily fixed with JB weld
Calypsorot - rare color looks really great when waxed
Rare 3-Spoke wheels - euro spec, only slighly curbed, still roll while on vehicle
Black Euro Plastic Bumpers - self explanatory... EURO
Driver Door Impact Strip Delete Mod - started the whole car but only got to the driver's door so far. Will complete rest prior to sale.
Clear Rear Turnsignal - took the orange lense cover off to display only the white bulb. Not a pro job, but not a hackjob either. I saw a DIY on the Food Network where they explain how to properly secure saran wrap. I planned on using that to seal the bulb from the elements. I can email you a link if you buy the car.
GREAT Track Car Candidate - bend the roof back a little bit, glass has already been removed, and I feel that the new body lines actually help with airflow since the rollover.
Cons
Driver Rear Tire Flat - I think it can be patched though.
Fenders could use a roll if the car is stanced
C-Pillar Headliner Piece is starting to delaminate a little bit - I can supply some adhesive
Price
NO LONGER $3250
