*I will make these for people that need a set. PM me for price*
Ok, so I bought some Recaro LS-B e21 fitment seats. I know there is a good amount of people that desire using the older Recaros that came stock.
Ok so here is what you need:
-2"x2" square tubing
-Drill with 1/2" metal bit
-Sawzall
-Grinder
-Tape measure
-Welder
~Cut a section of square tubing to 13"1/4 then cut it down the center lengthwise to make two sections.
~Then measure 3/4" from each outside edge in to get the pattern correct.
These are the measurements I used.

In the picture above you will notice the e21 seat buckle bracket on the bottom right. Cut it off flush with the side of the base.
It is too tall to be useable.
~Now the e30 buckle is very tall, cut the mounting point above the hole.
~Then weld it to the bottom of the base at your desired angle.
You can see from my picture below how it lowers it to correct use height.

~Now take the e21 base and bolt it to the floor.
~Then bolt down the new base you made from the square tubing.
~That will line up everything correctly in the final level position.
~Now undo the battery cable to the battery. Then tack weld the new base nice and solid.
~Remove it and bead weld every seam solid.
~Then on the side where the belt bolts drill a hole 1.5" in front of the rear base floor mounting hole.
~That will allow you to bolt up the belt anchor to the base just like stock. Use whatever nut and bolt you have.
You can see the belt mounting in the picture below on the right of the base. That will give you a good idea what to do.
