Up for trade or sale is a clean 1989 325is with 242,xxx miles. Clean, lein free Florida title.
Engine- m20 with 19# injectors, MarkD chip, K&N cone filter (probably going to replace with stock air box since it is better). timing belt, water pump, coolant flush, fuel filter, and valve adjust done at 235,000. oil change every 3,000 and valve adjust every 9,000, leaks a little bit of oil about 1 quart every 4,000 miles. Just replaced oil pan due to getting cracked from being so low in a construction zone.
Suspension- back in August 2011 installed GC coil-overs OZ Futuras 16x 8.5 front and 16x9.5 rear with 15mm spacers all around, along with new tires MAXXIS, just installed 3.1 e36 steering rack along with new inner and outer tie rods.
Brakes- PO installed ATE rotors and Mintex Pads with SS brake lines. that was when I bought it in 2008. still have meat on them but getting close to needing replacement.
Body- PO repainted awhile ago with Alpine white color code 300. Has a few chips and dings from being so low but still a 7.5/10. Small amount of rust on underside and rear bumper.
Electrical- Most everything works except fog lights, oil temp gauge jumps (still trying to find the problem), and after oil pan replacement the oil level light comes on around 10 mins of driving(replacing the sensor this weekend, will update) engine never overheats or has been run low on oil.
Stereo- Head-unit with iPod hookup crafted into ash tray, PO upgraded all speakers and tweeters, Lukebox with 10" Polk DB series Sub and generic amp. Sounds really clean with no trunk rattle.
Interior- black sport seats with gray carpet, normal wear areas. e36 center console just sitting in there cause i like arm rests but still have stock one in garage.
Over all the car has never left me stranded (unless it was my fault like the oil pan) and has been my baby for over 4 years now. Car started in New York then to Ohio then to Florida and finally to San Diego. Car has Michigan Plates since I am military and have a home there. Never had the smog check done. Planning on running seafoam this weekend and having it checked so hope that works out. We are adding another baby in a few weeks. Really want an E39 540i/6, but will look at any 4 door manual. I am not afraid of high milage or frame straight salvage titles. If you are interested in just buying the car, I really need 5,000 but will consider other offers.
