    M20 Turbo Spark Plugs

    Hi guys :)

I'm about to take my car to the dyno, I'm wondering which spark plugs are suitable for 15-17 psi and around 330-350hp?

    I'm running 42lb injectors

    Ngk bpr7es

    Ngk BKR7E

    Ngk BPR7EIX, iridium

    Others?

    THanks,

Depends how much boost. 1.5+ bar you'll want the 8es. Below that you'll be fine with 7es.

                7s here

Had spark blowout at over 15psi

Solved that with a wasted spark setup using an Accel magnavox coil pack from a turbo buick

                  ^ :(

So should I go with 8es from the beginning? Since I don't use a wasted spark setup and want to go over 15psi

Oh, seems that the 7es are not good for more than 1 bar, except if using wasted spark setup

maybe the 8es will be fine using the single coil setup

                      *Really confused* :(

8's foul out way to easy while your tuning, i run 7's on 15 lbs with stock coil and no issues yet. You have to get your feul dialed in pretty well before you run 8's

The only ones I could find are BR7ES

                            Anyone have tried them?

Run those and see how you like them, very popular (inexpensive) plug among boosted setups outside of the BMW realm as well ;)

In the mitsubishi evo world, the BR7ES are preferred over the B(p)r7es which are a slightly "warmer" plug. p= protruding electrode... I think i worded that right.
