OP - That's not 2012 DA14, it's a meteor that just happens to streak the sky a day before DA14. Everything I've read is that they are not related.

That is insane, i thought for sure it was just early signs of the asteroid it self (lots of shit orbits with it).. crazy even if not related.

The meteorite and asteroid are two separate occurrences, this subject is actually the meteorite not asteroid da14. We are all safe now that da14 passed at 2:27pm, bruce willis did not have to save the day this time.
