        Step 1. Buy skid plate
        Step 2. Avoid broken pans

Sorry, I've failed at the oil pan initiation/hazing.

The Ex on the other hand, left me with a doozy

Even the core support's all messed up.

              ^ Ok, revision time.

              Step 1. Buy a skidplate
Step 2a. Don't drive like an idiot
Step 2b. Pray there aren't fucking boulders in the road
Step 3. Avoid broken oil pans

Edit: Also, what the fuck did you have it attached to in the front?

                  fixed.

as far as your edit: as i said....i didn't do this. i bought the car in this condition. the car had that californina retarded suspension slam when i got it.

as far as attachment is concerned, apparently, the core support was already bent from someone fucking it up previously. (likely due to said retarded suspension setup)

                      I'll play!

This happened a couple months ago. Bought a brand new pan, and hit the ground ONCE and it's broken again! :( Luckily, it's just a minor steady drip. It's sitting at home with a drain pan under it. Gonna JB weld it once it drains, cause I'm a lazy bitch. The funny part is that my car sits at stock height. lol. I drove straight into a stupid curb.

JB-Stick weld. It's in clay form and will seal things up even when it's dripping. Just smear it in.
I've found that even after draining my oil pan, using regular JB weld doesn't work since even the slightest bit of oil will drip right on through.

I'm lowered an inch (possibly more don't know brand of springs) my front shocks aren't exactly in the best of shape and my pan is still in one piece for now. Daily driven. However I really wish I could get an inch or inch and a half chopped from it.

Fixed that for you, I drove through NYC, NJ and some of the worst ROTTEN roads in PA and upstate NY while being lower than most static setups. You know, roads where PUSSSY ASS bag riders raise up their skirts ;)

11 almost 12 years and never a broken e30 pan.
