    My e30 street/drift car from Qc !!

Hi guys !! I'm from Quebec and i'm a newbie on this forum!! I want to share whit you my 1991 318is I bought a year and a half ago. I totally love this little beast, a blast to drive on the street and on the track. I bought the car with a m20b25 in it, a GC coilover conversion kit and some bilstein sport all around. Not long after I put added some little extra to be able to have fun on track last summer. :
    Hydro e-brake
    550lb spring front/750lb rear
    AAR carbon fibre bucket seat
    350mm steering wheel
    3.73 welded diff
6 puck unsprung clutch disk/rebuild stock pressure plate
    15x8 xxr 531 wheels
    IS lip

that pretty much it ! here's few pik from last summer, the stock M20 in the little car makes a nice combo ! Really not a show car or anything (rusty as all old car from here), only tons of fun :):

the car ran really strong all summer except for a broken rocker arm and a blown diff
added some new e36 tie rod (Moog) with 5mm spacer mid summer. And 70mm stud conversion from bimmerbum. There was a fire in the back on the car at the last event due to a spark from the loose battery. I've now learned from my error...:

luckily the car has nothing but little clear burn. The rubber burning was scary but it seems worse than it was.

this winter we had the chance, me and 4 friends, to get a garage for cheap, I decided to do some little mods on the e30. But my budget is small (university student) so I kept all simple, no crazy built here sorry guys.

I installed condor speed shop motor/transmission mount

I dropped the subframe to put a revshift urethane bushing kit (12mm subframe raise). Rebuilt my blown 3.73 diff cause I really liked that gear ratio. My rear camber goes from 4 degre to 2.25, really happy with the correction.

Put on some brand new HD billies (325ix up front/2 inch shortened housing, 98 mustang on rear(bolt on, shorter and stiffer). GC camber/caster plates, Stainless headers, ABS canceled, battery relocated, redone rusted floor and paint it, new fender cause the old one was rusted, drive shaft guibo coupling, walbro 255 fuel pump, raised seat bracket cause I was sitting on the floor last summer.

^this last one is not from my car, only as an exemple its the same setup!

Thats where I am right now !! I only need to finish the straight exhaust, install my seat and do my skid plate !! thanks for the reading :) Btw sorry my english is far from perfect :P

How did the HD billies handled the 750lb at the rear
How did it feel as a daily with such rates ?
            Any body roll ?
How does the car feel neutral ? Or tend to oversteer

Sorry for all those queations :-)

No problem ;) The handling was surprisingly good with the E30 HD billies even with those rates. The body roll was really minimal but the rear felt a little bit to soft for me, thats why I bought some mustang HD billies at the rear. As I said they are shorter and stiffer than E30 HDs. I cannot comment the handling on the mustang HDs because I didnt try it yet... I'll tell you how it feel when I'll test on the track in a couple a weeks :) As a daily drive, it all depend on how you like it, but its pretty stiff at those rate. If you don't go on track with your car, I'd suggest a little bit softer spring, maybe 400-450 front/600-650 rear.
