My dads 1989 325ix Touring

I'd like to introduce my dads new 325ix Touring. Some of you might have seen it over on the FB R3V group or over in the ix section, but I found this car pop up on craigslist and just for fun sent it to my dad. Well apparently my dad didn't understand my little joke and called the guy the next day. Its a 1989 325ix Touring slicktop, and she has 100,000 original kilometers or about 60,000 miles. She is extremely rust free and started her life in Spain. My dad bought it from a former rally driver who lived in Spain and loved his car. In the purchase price of the car, both the timing belt, water pump, and Thermostat were replaced (along with some other stuff I think) and was delivered to my dads door. He didn't have to deal with customs or anything. Its a very basic car, the only options it has is Mtech 1 Steering Wheel and front Electric windows. Anyways I'd like to introduce you guys to Nessy.

Beautiful car, funny story behind it too. I send my dad e30's all the time as a joke and he won't do it, even though he had a Z3 a while back.

Its funny, theres been two e30s I've sent him and thought he'd never buy, the first was a white 87 325is (that he bought) and this touring. You can see pics of the little collection he has in my build thread (see sig).

I saw this on craigslist and thought it was pretty cool. My friends and I send CL ads to each other all the time, I now have 4 toys in addition to my DD. That website is dangerous, glad that one went to a good home.

Hey Stonea, I think I ran into your dad this morning. I was getting one of my E30's safety inspected and he was at the gas station next door. He saw me getting into my E30 and came over to chat for a minute.
