    Shift Selector Rod Group Buy

    Hi All!

Three years ago I had a buddy of mine who has 20+ years in metal fab/welding create a selector rod for my e30. He made half a dozen more and I sold them to locals.
Many people who had drive my car loved the way it shifted, and many locals since have bought other cars that recently have requested an additional batch made.

After some convincing, he has decided to make 10 more. Options are 187mm or 215mm and powder coated(+$15) or raw.
The ends and pins are turned out of mild steel and the shaft is chrome-molly. You would need to change the selector joint to an e36 style(25117503525). E-type circlips are included with the pins.

To keep costs low and work time favorable, we need 10 people to get this moving.
The price will be $100 shipped anywhere in the US. PM me for additional questions and paypal information.

Sheet metal carrier is pre-85.5 basically. Robrez, just convert to late model carrier. Better design, less slop, and it's cheap.

My 10/85 production car has (well had) the sheet metal shifter, but the dual mount transmission case, so it was an easy swap. Some earlier transmissions didn't have the late style mounting ears on them.

I thought they had a TU on the carrier in 8/85? I could be wrong... It's sometime around there lol

My trans doesn't have the mounting ears that would allow me to convert.
