    AWD vs. RWD subframe bushings

RWD subframe bushing vs. AWD subframe bushing. The ONLY difference is that the center sleeve is 0.320 (8mm) longer in the AWD subframe bushing.

Yes - the ix bushing is longer because bmw moved the subframe away from the body due to the increasedride height. A lowered ix should use rwd bushings imo - it will bring the rear camber and toe closer to stock.

Is the ix diff mount altered as well to keep the subframe "level" ?

The hole in the ix diff bushing is offset to compensate.

I'm using an mcoupe diff cover and alignment is fine.
