FS: Custom M badged Instrument Cluster control symbol thread.

For the past few months I've been working on a kind of a project....Thought you might like it guys.
Took me weeks of research on materials, design etc. and endless phone calls to various firms, factories and other facilities to come up with OEM like instrument cluster M inserts, which are a quality and overall a cost effective product.

The inserts are printed on the very same plastic that the original gauge dial faces are.
There's currently a version for the cars equipped with "Active Check Control" available only. For the e30s with ACC, the Motorsport emblem is not translucent, the "Check" telltale below the emblem is transparent, to retain the full "ACC" functionality.

A standalone translucent Motorsport emblem without the "ACC" will be available soon.

Price is $33 Shipped / each.

Contact me either here on R3v or via email: icorbin127@gmail.com

Yep, seems that I've miraculously failed with these. Once they're fitted, they still have a tiny amount of space to freely move around even when the plastic bulb diffuser behind it is tightened, making it sit wonky. The plastic film itself is too slim it seems.

I'll def be redoing them. Also I ought to make the M badging bigger, right? Seems too small to me. I'm open to any ideas and thoughts on the matter!

So, I'm back with the re-designed cluster insert version. Pictures are up to your judgement.

The badge/logo is not translucent. The insert if designed for the e30s equipped with an Active Check Control, "Check" telltale function is retained and is, below the logo.

If anyone would be interested, I've lowered the price to $33 shipped a piece.

Nice item but I think it would be better to have the M badge in the whole section and be transparent like the check emblem.

Are you guys suggesting the ///M be transparent like the 'check' ? Then you wouldnt be able to see it unless the check engine light was blinking...

I will be doing a standalone M emblem without the "Check" soon too..... the above ones are for the ethirties with ACC so you guys would be able see that your blinker fluid's low. lol.

Looks pretty legit. Combined with red needles a standard cluster would mimic the M3 cluster.
