Late model 318s and 325s in hard roofed variety share suspension parts. I would think they would work for you on a 318 vert. Might sit a smidge higher up front, but that wouldn;t be bad. It sits a little low up front for my liking.

            Suspension on the E30vert

H & R Sport Springs and Blistein Sport Shocks
            No Spare tire in trunk

Gives a good deal firmer ride than stock. Does not "float" like the stock shocks/springs do. Lowers the ride height and thereby the center of gravity. Overall much better cornering and handling.

I contemplated going with Ground Control Coilovers and Koni's and may ultimately go with that setup, but for now I am content with the H /R Sport Blistein Sport combo.

If you go coilovers then you can dial in the spring rate a bit and more importantly set the ride height. Lower or Higher. Which is really nice.

Bid difference in price though 1500 for the coilovers versus about 650 -750- for the Bilstien sport H & R sport combo.
