Carbon film on my bonnet, FLAME AWAY BOYZ

I thought seeing as tho I got flamed to a crisp in Aus over this I might as well let you guys have your go.

My bonnet had clear flaking off all over the place and the place I work at had wanted to test out Foliatecs 3d Carbon look bonnet film so we saw it as a good test bed, with the shape of the E30 bonnet not being an easy one.

To make something clear here, I did not do it thinking "look how cool I am with my fake carbon bonnet", it is a temporary. It is not forever, it is not permanant, was "Test film and hide my flakey bonnet for the time being"
    Anyway...................

I am over worrying about what other people think, especially when the two main flame shooters in Aus are prolly 2 of the biggest tools in Aus.
Apparantly it has THRUST my E30 into the "Ultimate ricer" category in Aus simply by applying the film. (coming from people who swap original strut braces on Jap cars to flashy looking alu ones)

    Anyhow, R3Vs turn

Let me just say that I hate crap on cars as much as the next guy but this actually looks really good. Its not a nasty looking fake carbon its pretty damn realistic, you need to look at it closely before you can tell its not real.

I think the reasons for its use justify it. Would people be hating it if is was another design or pattern? Its just being labled rice because its carbon look.

how much tape did you use? I know that this tape is not cheap, I wonder how much it cost to cover the hood. Looks better than flaking clearcoat. Post some pics of the car

I am not a fan of carbon, and this looks good to me. From the pictures hard to tell it is not real. Big thumbs up to the person that applied it! Definately better than flaking. How much for enough to cover my landcruisers' flaking hood? lol
