    Engine bay and inturrrr pics...

Alright so I figure I should post up a few recent shots of the engine bay of the E30 and the interior which I finished literally 15 minutes before I left for Bimmerfest. The interior has been converted from black vinyl to grey clothe and I love it! As far as the engine bay, it's still got work to come but I redid the charge pipes a bit and added t-bolt clamps. Check out that sweet shot of the SS turbo manifold too. :)

Is that wiring for the ECU just resting on the metal edge through the firewall? Dosnt look like theres anything rubber to protect the wiring from chafing on it.

Yes I know that's what many BMW owners are lead to believe by I don't know who. That being said, I had already planned to use a Bosch or K&N filter when I change the oil anyway.

Af far as where I put the filter, I dare you to find me another realistic spot to put it, lol. I really wanted to run the dual filter setup but there was just no room for it.

I've got a set of black seats, with E30 brackets built and welded onto them, if you're interested. :D

I dont like the two tone door panels and you could use a chrome ebrake lever. Other than that its pure sex.

I used to have a job in QC at an engine remanufacturing plant.. one of my jobs was to dissasemble oil filters. Fram is crap, end of story.

too bad that beautiful manifold is covered by the ugly turbo and piping ;)

                            love the interior though!

True story. I've seen independent tests, Fram is consistently the worst filter.
