    my christmas present..

this happened on christmas eve on the way to my grandparent's house to eat and open a few presents.. a blue tacoma came flying around the turn and spun out in front of a truck that was in front of me, and i tried to avoid it, i did a fairly good job considering it was raining, and i avoided his hitch. it wasn't my fault, but i finally get a car i enjoy, and the cost of parts to repair is way more than blue book for this car. i don't know what i'm going to do..

Sorry to hear about that, dood. That's frame damage, anyway. You could have that entire front section cut out and welded back in, but it would probably never be straight again, and the car would still have a reconstructed title. Total the car, get what you can from insurance, see if you can possibly get it back and part it out, and buy another E30.

That part right behind the headlight grill, on the section where he got hit is part of the front frame core support. It's all one piece including the radiator core support and across to the other side. When ClavinZERO's car got R3V'd up here in Oregon, Jordan cut out his entire front core support and welded in a new one.

there is. i can hear the tire rubbing on something, as well as brake pulsation, and the power steering makes a hell of a noise.

Werd. A hit like that that does that much damage to the front core support most likely tweaked out the frame on the underside.

Sell it to the insurance company and buy it back, then part it.

i was thinking about that, but i don't even feel like doing it. i might just let my friend buy it back and part it, he's willing to do it, i'm not.

That could be fixed with a new fender, hood, and a come-along.
