i agree with the other members. screw fixing that well.. get another white (if possible) hood and fender.. total the car, buy it back and drive the shit out of it until you find something you really like again..

Clear your doubts, measure it, from spindle to spindle, then check the doors, you guys should see what people fix here in Chile, (or in Argentina), I don't know how expensive that would be to fix in the states, but if you like the car, buy the new parts and fix.

If you think it's too much trouble, unbend it on the inside, get a new hood and fender and use it while you get the "new" one.

But if the insurance company will pay good money for it, total it, just do what you feel is the best for you, but don't freak out, it CAN be fixed. ;)

But it may cost a lot there...

It don't look that bad, but i'm not seeing it in person. My car was hit in the front before i got it and you should see the gaps. I don't know how the car doesn't have a rebuilt title. But shows up on car fax that it had been in a accident and was recorded by the cops. The car drives straight and rides fine though.

Another plan, buy it back from the insurance, beat the wheel well out with a hammer until it shuts up and some shit aligns, drive it until you can replace it, keep it for parts when you get a new car. You'd be surprized how nice it is to have a parts car.

                  Sorry to hear!

I hit Rudolph the giant f--in buck with my truck xmas eve.

Thing jumped out of the woods and in front of my bumper, hit it twice actully before it took off into the woods. I was going 40mph and the dam thing came up on my hood.

There was a E30 right behind me, Im glad I hit the thing not them.
It would of gone through their windshield.

I agree. Similar thing happened to me last winter, but on the passenger side. With eBay and the forums you could probably find all of the parts you need for a couple hundred bucks. A good body guy who actually cares about fixing older cars could pull out/straighten that core support. Guess it depends on how bad you want to save the car. I've got an extra grille you could have to replace that damaged one for the cost of shipping.

                          Good luck.

I don't see how that would be frame damage, gonna take some time to fix though.

If it was, I guess I would have to total my M3 again lol

Be thankful this didnt happen to you when you had smoked headlights, euro grills, smoked front turn signals. Its a pita, and that same damage happened to me last year in January with said modifications. But it facilitated my later bumper swap.

well, the problem is, the car is an 85, with unknown mileage. it's not worth much, only 2k. i checked prices of new sheet metal, and to replace it, it's going to be well over 1500 for parts alone, then labor, and paint, they're going to total it for sure. not to mention something has cut my tire, so it's flat now. i just want the insurance check, and i'll go find something else, this e30 had quite a few problems, but i was willing to sort them out, now, i don't want to work on a wrecked car that will never be right again.
