Caliper go bye bye from carrier...

So I got the car back from the shop yesterday.

Had the control arms and lolli-pop bushings replaced.

My plan for today was to go and get my rotors cut because the fronts were warped (brand new mind you).

So I went to visit a shop to get the rotors cut...I was told to come back at 4.

About to get of on my exit, and all of sudden I hit a bump and BOOM...the car starts pulling to the right really hard.

    I pulled over to inspect.

Caliper was no longer attached to its mounting points and the caliper was rubbing the inside of the rim.

Once I got around to getting the rim off I was just SHOCKED. I will let the pics speak for themselves.

Oh and I'm out of a brand new SS line...if anyone has A spare let me know!

glad you got off safely, that blows! I doubt the shop took your calipers off for the control arms, but shit, you got lucky imo.

Did this happen on your way home from getting the rotors turned? If so, go after the shop for compensation. They might have forgotton to tighten everything up...

That must have been one LOUD boom!! Wow. That is carnage! Good to hear you were able to stop OK and inspect the damage. It could have been a lot worse!

You go back to those stupid fucking assholes who need to be raped with the parts that broke off, in the ass, with no lube.

What the fuck kind of incompetent bitch would do that, I don't know.

That is crazy. Glad you and your car made it out ok (except your wheel/brake). Call Turner, they sell SS lines seperatly and only costs like $30 shipped.

Were you picking the car up with the job done ?

Or you were told to come back at 4 to do the job ?

If they did it and that happened they should fix it, and compensate you for the scare.. :curse:
